Growing up in the province of Québec, I was introduced to osteopathy in my teenage years. Sessions would leave me calm and centred and more over, free of the discomfort and pain I would complain about. The slight touch of the therapist left me wondering how so little could do so much. I later had a series on concussion from competing in snowboarding and was left with years of headaches and brain fog. Only after I consulted with an osteopathic practitioner that my symptoms went away and that, 5 years after the accidents. Osteopathy as a profession never left my mind and after years of coaching snowboarding, various logging industry jobs, doing advanced first aid in the oil industry of Alberta, I went back to school, obtained my diploma in Human Kinetic-Exercises Science and enrolled into the Canadian School of Osteopathy, Manual Therapy, Vancouver Campus in 2010. I graduated in 2015 after defending my thesis: The Treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux in the Newborn by Osteopaths Specialized in Pediatrics: A Qualitative Study.
